Cookie policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026 · Draft pending legal review

The short version

This website sets no cookies at all, which is why you have never been asked to accept any.

We do count visits, without cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is run by our hosting provider, to count page views and see which pages people find useful. It is deliberately cookieless: it stores nothing on your device and reads nothing from it.

Instead of identifying you, it records the page you visited, the site you came from, your approximate location from your IP address (country, region and city, though the address itself is not stored), and your browser, operating system and device type. Those records are aggregated, so nothing here builds a profile of you or follows you to another website.

Our understanding is that this needs no consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, because those rules govern storing information on your device or reading information from it, and this does neither. That reading is pending legal review.

What “strictly necessary” means here

Technical storage the site needs to work: fonts your browser caches the ordinary way, and a note that you have already seen the opening animation so it does not replay on every page. That note is cleared when you close the tab. Neither requires consent under PECR.

If this changes

If we ever add a cookie, or any other technology that stores information on your device or reads it, this page will be updated first and you will be asked to consent before anything is set. Questions? Email privacy@microinterns.co.uk.
